Bonnie Welsher 71

Bonnie Welsher 71, of Hampton passed away peacefully at Franklin General Hospital under the care of North Iowa Hospice with her family by her side Friday, December 17, 2021. Funeral Service was 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton with visitation on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Sietsema Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

She was born February 6, 1950, in Waterloo Iowa, to Guy & Esther (Anway) Walker and married the love of her life Gregory Welsher on April 20, 1968.

Bonnie worked at several places where she was well known, including Drierdale, Gibson (Pamida), Chat & Chew, Food Factory, Stanley Pizza, Winnebago and retiring from Fay’s (7 Stars).
She loved her music and vinyl records which she would listen, sing and dance to her favorite songs Witch Doctor and Running Bear. She also loved to paint, collect Beanie Babies, putting puzzles together, ceramics and bowling with her highest achievement as 269 game and a 642 series.

Family was always important to her making sure pictures were always up to date.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Greg, four children Darla Welsher of Wisconsin, Daniel Welsher of Wisconsin, Dawn Galindo of Hampton and David Welsher of Mason City, 7 grandchildren Alekzandr, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Garrett, Zachary Erin, & Dylan, brother Bob Schoon and numerous nieces and nephews and their family and Special Friends Lydia Jones and Deb Klunder and her beloved pet Libby.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard, Dewayne, Charles LaVerne, Eugene, Kenneth, Larry, Ron, one grandson Seth Gregory Roam and beloved Chihuahua Chica.
