Beverly Ann (Voss) Rusinack

Beverly Ann (Voss) Rusinack passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Burial will be at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Beverly (Bev) was born October 19, 1943, to Herman and Idella (McIlrath) Voss. Bev attended the Aredale Public School until it closed in 1954. She then went to Dumont Consolidated School until graduation in 1961. She was a member of the basketball team and sang in the chorus.

After graduation she went to work for Mier Wolf and Sons. Later, she went to work at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She worked with the company for 33 years of service before retirement. She then worked part-time for the Hampton Reminder.

In August 1967, she married John Rusinack in the Aredale Methodist Church. They were married for 57 years.

Bev was a lifelong member of The Telephone Pioneers. She was an avid seamstress, making beautiful clothes. Bev enjoyed making quilts for family members. She also made blankets and baby clothes for nieces and nephews. You could always find her with John at local racetracks. Her favorite was going to the go cart tracks, watching and cheering on her nephew and his sons.

Bev is survived by her husband John, brother Ralph (Karen) Voss, sister-in-law Pam Rusinack, and nephew Scott (Jennifer Stadlander) Brown. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert (Bob) Voss, sister Betty Brown, sister-in-law Billie Sue Voss, brother-in-law Dave Rusinack, and brother-in-law Darrell Brown.
