Annette L. Lahner, 67

Annette L. Lahner, 67 of Sheffield, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

The Lahner family plans to have a celebration of life at a soon, but warmer time of year (date unknown.)

Annette Louise was the daughter of James and Dorothy (Racek) Eggelston, born in Kearney, Nebraska. She graduated in Omaha. She then moved to Iowa where she worked for various businesses including: Sperry Univac, Alexander Batteries, Wood Harbor and finished her work experience at Sukup manufacturing of Sheffield, Iowa.

On January 18, 1987 she was married to Bill Lahner in Klemme, Iowa. They made their home in Sheffield. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren, they were well aware of this and they flourished off of her love. She also loved nature, hiking, history, and walking her dogs. She enjoyed attending car shows, traveling the country, going on fishing trips and again spoiling the grandchildren with her beloved husband Bill Lahner.

Surviving her is her husband Bill. Her three children: Joshua Hicks of Iowa City, Mikala (Micah) Heimdal of Kanawha, and Alan (Micayla) Lahner of Sheffield. Her seven grandchildren: Ethan Hicks; Deklan, Kayleigh, Molly and Riley Heimdal; & Aubree and Asher Lahner. Siblings: Chuck Eggelston, Kathy Burks, Vickie Mallet, Laura Jorgenson, and Chris Runyan.
