LE GRAND – AGWSR’s Jeffrey Pfaltzgraff won the 1,600 as the Cougars finished fifth in a six-team meet held by East Marshall on Tuesday, March 30.
He claimed the victory by three seconds, coming in at 5:08.52 to top 3,200 winner Joe Terrones of the host school.
It was the first action for AGWSR’s boys since 2019 due to COVID-19.
His was the only individual victory for the Cougars, but Cale Culver earned a runner-up finish in the 100 in 11.78 seconds and several others placed third as they accumulated 60 points for their finish.
