HD-CAL boys soccer squeezes out win over Iowa Falls-Alden

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys soccer team defeated Iowa Falls-Alden, 3-2, on the road on April 4.

The Bulldogs scored the first goal, leading 1-0 at the half.

They’d keep the Cadets at bay, matching their two goals to hold onto the one-goal lead. Senior Jonathon Morales recorded the hat trick, scoring all three goals for the black and red. HD-CAL was efficient in their shots, taking 16 shots and putting 15 on target.

Jose Aragon made 12 saves to help keep the Bulldogs above the Cadets.

Silas Buseman, Marcos Baez and Alexis Hernandez all recorded an assist in the contest.
