HD-CAL competes at Roland-Story

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys track team was able to squeeze into the Roland-Story track meet on Saturday amidst all their scheduled meets being canceled this week.

The Bulldogs finished ninth among 10 teams.

Tony Valenzuela finished fourth with a time of 11.54 in the 100-meter event.

Gage Plagge jumped 18-02 in the long jump for fifth place.

Payton McNealy finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 41-06.50.

Scott Harr finished fifth in the discus throw with a distance of 108-5.50.

The 4x100 team made up of Gage Plagge, Tate Murray, Gavin Meader, and Tony Valenzuela finished in third place with a time of 45.35.

The 4x200 relay, Gage Plagge, Tate Murray, Karter Janssen, Tony Valenzuela, placed third in a time of 1:36.31.

The 800 medley, Tony Valenzuela, Karter Janseen, Gavin Meader, and Tate Murray, ran a time of 1:42.13 for a third place finish.
