Class 3A No. 10 Clear Lake pulls away from West Fork

CLEAR LAKE – Clear Lake, ranked No. 10 in Class 3A, pulled away late to hand West Fork just its third loss of the season on Thursday, Jan. 29.

This game, originally scheduled to start the season, was postponed due to COVID-19 quarantine.

Kayden Ames scored 13 points and Cail Weaver added 10, but the Lions got 27 from Andrew Formanek and 19 from Carson Toebe to improve to 14-1.

Joe Ingham was one point shy of posting a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. He added three blocked shots. Ren Heimer led coach Frank Schnoes’ team with four assists while Jakob Washington had a team-high two steals.
