At approximately 11:45 p.m. Friday night, a Hampton police officer attempted to stop a vehicle after it was observed traveling at “a high-rate” of speed in the area of Olive Ave. and Highway 3. The officer activated his lights in an attempt to pull over the vehicle, and an active pursuit began, for 20 minutes, covering 26 miles.
The vehicular pursuit ended in the 200 block of 80  street, after the vehicle in pursuit drove into a ditch. Zaragoza exited the vehicle and ran into a corn field.
