Winter weather slows Wellness Center progress

West Fork building still on track for fall opening, project superintendent says
 
     The shell of the new West Fork Wellness Center has been steadily closing in as Henkel Construction crews work through winter on the project.
     “Weather has most certainly slowed us down,” said Tim Bray, project superintendent, adding that snow and cold cause trouble for their equipment. “It definitely puts a few wrinkles in things.”
     Despite the hurdles, Bray planned for the slower winter pace while scheduling the project.
     “Working through the winter – you take it in stride,” he said. “Things take a little longer. On the overall schedule, we’re still sitting where we need to be.”
