West Fork makes it a game against former No. 10 H-D

HAMPTON – This Franklin County baseball match-up had a little bit of everything.
No. 10 Hampton-Dumont vs. West Fork featured an incredible steal home, some small-ball and eventually a rally that forced a pitching change to eventually end it all with a strikeout.
After the dust had cleared, the Bulldogs escaped with a 5-4 win over the Warhawks at Hampton on Tuesday, June 23.
It all started with a straight steal of home by Bailey Miller with two outs and two strikes in the opening inning with Cesar Baez at the plate.
“We had talked a little bit about how he (West Fork starter Evan Sprung) has got a slow wind-up..." H-D coach Matt Lokenvitz said....
