West Fork girls take three titles at Cardinal Relays

GARNER - West Fork took three event titles on its way to a third-place team finish at the Cardinal Relays at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School Tuesday.

Keara Wood won the high jump for the Warhawks while Brecklyn Dickman won the shot put and Leah Weaver was first in the 400-meter run.

Second-place Warhawk finishes included Rylie Akins in the long jump, Breea Weaver in the 100-meter dash, L. Weaver in the 400-meter hurdles and the 4 x 200 and distance medley relays. 4 x 200 runners included Preslee Dickman, B. Weaver, Keelee Sheriff and Wood while Sheriff, Wood, Tarah Ruckdashel and Jana Harms teamed up on the distance medley.

West Fork was also third in the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relays.

Thursday’s scheduled meet at Nashua-Plainfield was canceled due to cold weather.

The Warhawks ran in the Forest City Relays Tuesday and are at the Jim Bayse Co-Ed at Hampton-Dumont Friday.
