SHEFFIELD – Since Jacqlyn Caspers stands 6-foot-4, it is taken for granted that she can spike the ball.
She can, but what impressed in her performance in West Fork’s sweep of Top of Iowa Conference foe Northwood-Kensett was her serving ability.
The Warhawk junior went on a 11-point run, including six aces, in the opening set that dictated the rest of the match during the 25-12, 25-16, 25-16 victory.
“Since my reach is already above the net, I’m not in an upwards trajectory, it’s all downwards,” Caspers said...
