SHEFFIELD – Probably the only thing that marred the West Fork boys’ basketball team’s 73-38 non-conference win over Clarion-Goldfield was the fact it lost one of its starters to injury in the second half of a game that had already been decided.

Leading 51-28 and going for a steal, Reese Halloran landed awkwardly and came down on a shoulder that had already been dislocated during football.

It did so again, with him leaving the court in obvious pain. He returned later, with his shoulder packed in ice in a sling.
