Warhawks gain ground in TIC play

SHEFFIELD – West Fork’s fifth straight win over winless Central Springs, and getting some needed help, helped the Warhawks gain some ground in the Top of Iowa East Conference.
The Warhawks pulled away in the second half against the Panthers with three different starters scoring double figures and able to play their whole bench in improving to 11-6 overall, 8-4 in the TIC East to pull within a couple games of first place.
Coach Frank Schnoes says his team needs to win out and get some more help, if his team will improve on West Fork’s current fourth place status.
