Warhawks deal with injuries in loss to West Hancock

SHEFFIELD — Three two-way starters, including a pair of upperclassmen who are key pieces to the West Fork game plan were injured and out for the Warhawks’ district game against West Hancock.
The elements were truly missed as the Eagles swooped in and took a 47-6 victory over coach James Perez’s team on Friday, Oct. 5.
Senior lineman Trey Pfeffer (knee), junior back Ian Latham (concussion) and sophomore back Kellen Cameron were all out for different reasons, leaving the Warhawks thin at some positions.
Perez refused to use that as an excuse.
“Trey Pfeffer is out and he’s a good senior leader,” Perez said...
