SHEFFIELD – West Fork’s softball team responded from its first loss of the season with an early attack against Eagle Grove in this 7-2 Top of Iowa Conference win on Wednesday, June 5.
Much like the first loss, the then-Class 1A No. 15 Warhawks’ head coach Abbee Dickman started showing her opponent, this time Eagle Grove, a different look from the pitcher’s circle.
“(We’re) still not perfect,” Dickman said. “We’re trying to show them a little off-speed and then come in with some speed and then go back to the other; trying it.”
