Tough week ends on great note for Bulldogs

ALLISON – Five games throughout last week, Hampton-Dumont’s softball team led in all of them and all five ended in an ‘L’ for the Bulldogs.
One of those included a five-run bottom of the seventh inning at Janesville for a heartbreaking 9-8 defeat.
All of that turned around on Saturday, June 16 at the North Butler softball tournament as the Bulldogs went 3-0 and got revenge on the Wildcats in the title game.
“It’s been quite a week,” Hampton-Dumont coach Kelsey Enslin said. “This was a good finish to a tough week on us..."
