Thriving at five

     Local residents can bring their sweethearts out for an afternoon of music and fellowship Feb. 14 during the Old Fashioned Sing-Along’s fifth anniversary celebration.
     The sing-along was started in 2011 by Dawn Groszkruger. She had previously led audience members in song during “An Evening Like It Used To Be” at the Windsor Theatre, but believed the community would enjoy a more frequent event.
     “The sing-along gets people to participate rather than just watching or listening,” Groszkruger said. “It keeps folks in touch with their roots, bringing back memories.”
