Three area players to IGCA all-state

DES MOINES – Hampton-Dumont’s Cassy Miller earned Class 3A third team all-state by the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association, announced late last week.
The junior shortstop claimed a spot on the final team as 22 were honored on each of the three teams in Class 3A.
She was among three from the area to earn all-state honors by the IGCA. Two AGWSR players, Abbie Young and Alana Groninga, were named to the Class 1A second and third teams, respectively.
