Storm Lake police chief delivers second diversity lecture in Hampton

Shifting community demographics and rural population growth were examined in-depth Monday afternoon during a special forum at Center 1 in Hampton.

     Storm Lake Public Safety Director/Police Chief Mark Prosser delivered a presentation on diversity to a crowd filled with local residents, business leaders and other community officials. The forum was the second in a lecture series sponsored by La Luz Hispana aimed at promoting one multi-cultural community in Hampton for future generations.

     “Our country, state and counties are changing whether we like it or not,” said Prosser. “How we adapt and how we serve is always a work in progress.”
