HAMPTON – A little rest did Hunter Sutter some good.
The Hampton-Dumont junior sprinter had been suffering from shin splints and was held out of a few meets over the last week and a half.
When he returned to action in front of the home crowd on Monday, April 17, Sutter didn’t disappoint, running to personal bests and wins in both the 100- and 200-meter dash at the H-D Boys Invite.
“My shin splints have been pretty bad,” Sutter admitted. “Took time out to ice and stretch them to see if I could get better and come back today and I end up winning both the 1 and 2, so I’d say I did pretty good...."
The entire story appears in the April 26 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
