Sheffield welcomes new Police Officers

The City of Sheffield has a new Chief of Police.

Brad Gardner, from the Manchester area, is an Ottumwa native that graduated in the Class of 1987.

After serving in the Navy for seven years as a corpsman he attended UNI to pursue an education in Business Administration. In 1998 he became a corrections officer at the Anamosa State Penitentiary and started his career as a police officer in 2001 when he joined the Monroe Police Department.
