HAMPTON - Given the opportunity, Lexi Sorenson took full advantage of it.

With her first start of the season, the 5-foot-5 senior responded with a 10-point , four rebound effort as the Hampton-Dumont girls basketball team put on a 69-29 rout against visiting Webster City on Friday, Jan. 3.

"Lexi has been coming off the bench and doing a great job," H-D head coach Chad Johnson said. "Paige Wragge missed some practice time, so we decided to start Lexi and I knew she would be fine tonight and she's fine every night. She did a nice job for us."
