Scott Deam, 61, of Sheffield, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at his home in Sheffield. A celebration of life service will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Scott David Deam was born on March 22, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marvin and Norma (Hansen) Deam. He graduated from Sheffield High School. Scott enjoyed tractor pulls, riding his motorcycle and his cat Mazie.

Scott is survived by his son Nicholas Prause of Dumont, sister Tracy (Mike) Schroeder of Sheffield, aunt Mardel Weber of Sheffield, niece Ashley (Bobby Shiflett) Schroeder of Hampton and nephew Andy (Ashley Banks) Schroeder of Sheffield.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents Hannah and Andrew Deam and maternal grandparents Merl and Dena Hanson.
