Rodemeyer pleads not guilty

Michael Lynn Rodemeyer Sr., 71, of Hampton, entered a written plea of not guilty to four counts of alleged sexual abuse of a minor late last week, and will stand trial this month.
Rodemeyer is accused of engaging sexually with a minor on several occasions, and is facing two counts of sexual abuse in the second degree from the Hampton Police Department, and one count of sexual abuse in the second degree and one count of sexual abuse in the third degree from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
