Redhawks get the best of Warhawks on Hawkeye home turf

IOWA CITY – Even though it wasn’t a win, the experience of playing on the University of Iowa home baseball stadium, Duane Banks Field, will be something West Fork’s team will not soon forget.
The Redhawks of North Tama out-hit the Warhawks 15-5 and errors led to a 9-3 North Tama win on Tuesday, July 9.
 “So far, we’ve had two different experiences – we went to the (Waterloo) Bucks Stadium (last week) and now this at the University of Iowa,” West Fork coach Lance Thompson said. “It was cool to get all these experiences that the kids otherwise might not have..."
