Ranked Grundy Center takes girls’ tilt

HAMPTON – Class 2A No. 9 Grundy Center came to Hampton with its pressure and came away with a 46-32 win over the Bulldogs on Monday, Dec. 18.

The Spartans came up with 14 steals and forced many more turnovers on their way to improving to 7-1 overall.

The visitors led 24-19 at half and H-D cut into the lead at 26-23 on a basket by Courtney Miller with 5 minutes, 50 seconds left in the third, but Grundy Center outscored the Bulldogs 20-9 the rest of the way.
