Kristina Raisch will resign from her position as Hampton’s Main Street Iowa coordinator effective Oct. 8 following 18 months of service to the community.

Raisch handed in her letter of resignation on Sept. 22, citing personal reasons as her motive for leaving. She plans to spend more time with her family after she wraps up her duties next Wednesday.

Raisch said her future career plans are unknown.

“Don’t know yet,” she said. “I have some things with family at home and I need to spend some more time with them – sort of pull back in a little bit. It gets to a point where you stretch yourself out too much, and I don’t want to get burned out.”
