Progress on the prairie

Despite delays, bridge project nearing finish line on RPT
 
     Local outdoor enthusiasts will soon be able to enjoy two brand new additions on the Rolling Prairie Trail east of Hampton.
     A construction crew is almost finished resurfacing a pair of bridges located on the route to Hansell. Work started early this month and has moved along nicely thanks to cooperative weather, but the project won’t be complete until railings are installed on both bridges this week.
     According to Franklin County Conservation Director Jason Gooder, the refurbished bridges are hoped to be ready by early October.
