Police intervene in conflict at Sukup

Sukup Manufacturing Compa-ny went into lockdown on Wednesday, Sept. 12 as a result of a verbal altercation at the manufacturing plant.
“At Sukup Manufacturing Co., employee safety is a very high priority,” wrote Rachel Geilenfeld, External Relations Manager in a release about the incident. “Sukup Manufactur-ing took heightened precau-tionary measures this morning to assure the safety and securi-ty of all our employees.”
The nature of the argument was not released, but law en-forcement was called to the scene. Following the police intervention it was determined that nobody was in immediate danger and no charges were filed for anybody involved. The lockdown was lifted at 11:15 a.m.
