Patricia Stock, 89, of Hampton, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at Franklin Country View in Hampton. Funeral services took place at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2023, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hampton. Public visitation was held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial took place at Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for Patricia and her family.

Patricia Colleen Granau was born April 6, 1934, in Dows, Iowa, to parents Fred and Ruth (Watt) Granau. After graduating from High School in 1952, Pat went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Iowa State Teacher College. On July 13, 1957, she was united in marriage to Lowell Stock. To this union two children were born: Sue and Shane. They settled their family in Hampton.

Pat worked as a school teacher in Hampton, teaching P.E. for 40 years. She was a devoted member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hampton. Pat was very involved with the church. She played in the bell choir and served on the church board for a period of time.

In her free time Pat enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts. She was artistically gifted to say the least. You could always find her painting, knitting, and basket weaving. She also enjoyed sewing, and loved to make outfits for her three grandkids, who she loved dearly. She spent her summers with her grandkids, and cherished her time with them. During her summers Pat particularly loved spending time at the Iowa State Fair, and liked to collect fair memorabilia while she was there. Pat made the trip down to Nebraska as often as she could to make it to as many of her grandkids' activities as possible. She was a kind, loving woman who will be missed dearly by those lucky enough to have known her.

Left to cherish Pat's memory include her children, Sue (Kim West) Cook and Shane (Peg) Stock, and her grandchildren; Brittany Stock, Madison Stock, and Tanner (Sara) Stock.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell, her parents, and by her brothers; Dennis Granau and Ronald Granau.
