LATIMER – Jasmen Sosa’s return to goal was a busy one.
The junior for the CAL/H-D/B-K girls’ soccer team hadn’t played goalkeeper for the Cadets since last season and her return was met with numerous shots by Class 1A No. 9 ranked Denver on Monday, May 4.
According to Cadet coach Amanda Heiden, it was the first match Sosa was available to play this season.
Sosa was peppered with shots on goal, making 13 saves against the 6-2 Cyclones, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the quick and high-powered offense in an 11-0 loss in just one half.
