IOWA FALLS – Cassy Miller has no problem clearing hurdles.
The senior for Hampton-Dumont won all three events involving hurdles – taking the 100, 400 and led off the winning shuttle hurdle relay – at the North Central Conference meet on Thursday, May 4 at Iowa Falls-Alden High School.
Both individual hurdles titles were run at a season-best clip. Miller won the 100 hurdles in 16.36 seconds two-tenths of a second better than her previous season best.
She also came in as the second seed in the 400 hurdles and improved on that time by a whopping four seconds to win it.
The full story appears in the May 10 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
