HAMPTON – Winds from 25 to 30 miles per hour and, at times, gusting to 40 mph gave the Hampton-Dumont girls’ tennis team fits in an 8-1 loss to visiting South Hardin on Tuesday, April 21.
Nevertheless, the Bulldogs led early in four of the team’s six singles matches, losing all but one of them.
“The cold and wind created problems for the team tonight,” H-D girls’ coach Mark Drier said.
