Meyer leads IF-A/AGWSR to second

UNION – Ellie Meyer of IF-A/AGWSR continued her unbeaten record in the 2020 cross country season with a convincing victory at the BCLUW Comet Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Meyer was the only female runner to break the 20-minute mark, clocking in at 19 minutes, 48 seconds and bested the competition by almost two minutes as the Cadets finished runner-up to West Marshall, 39-65.
Rounding out team scoring for the team were Teah Miller (third), Kate Pfaltzgraff (17), Kyla Oppold (20) and Trinity Rotgers (24).
The IF-A/AGWSR boys’ team was fourth in the seven-team field with 88 points, led by Jacob Michaelson’s 11th-place finish.
