Merlyn Hofer

Merlyn Hofer, 81, of Hampton, Iowa, formerly of Toledo, Iowa, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, at his home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Church of the Living Word in Hampton, with Pastor Dan Varns officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. A graveside service will be held at the Turner Cemetery in rural Garwin (2.5 miles north of the Casino) at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016. A gathering will be held at 2247 Hwy E43, Toledo, immediately following the committal service at the cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
