Madson previews Lazy Acres wine in Hampton

A dozen wineries were represented in this year's Friday Uncorked, but a newcomer to the sample table comes from close to home.
Steve Madson, principal of Hampton-Dumont High School, set up at Rustic Brew on Friday to promote his off-hours project: Lazy Acres Winery.
A Madson family endeavor, the winery has been years in the making, with plans going back to 2010 as the Madsons were visiting the family farm in Lake Mills.
"Somehow in that discussion we started talking about starting a vineyard," said Madson.
