Linda Rae Carpenter, 69, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on July 14, 2023.

Linda was born on February 1, 1954, in Hampton, Iowa, to Henry and Mildred Peters.

In her professional life, Linda worked at Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran Hospitals, until her retirement.

Outside of work, Linda enjoyed traveling, NASCAR races, and collecting cow memorabilia.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dan Carpenter of Des Moines, as well as her two sisters, Charlotte (Lowell) Ross, and Peggy (Mike) Stock, both of Hampton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mildred Peters, and her brother, Gary Peters.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 6^th, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, at 16 - 5^th St. NE. Hampton, IA.
