Letter to the Editor

“Pro-life” should apply to more things than abortion

Letter to the Editor:

Regarding “Students for Life.” Is this a clever way to get an archaic religious standard into the schools? There should also be a “Students for Free Choice and Constitutional Rights” organization.
How much effort will “Students for Life” put into “Life on Our Roads and Highways”? Will they work for strict enforcement of crash prevention laws? Will they put a leash on those runaway speed limits and fatality rates on those select highways and work for enforcement cameras? If not, then why not? Why doesn’t “pro-life” apply when on the accelerator?
I detest the phoney so-called “pro-life lawmakers” that go pro-death on speed limits and everything that would reduce crashes and suffering.
When the so called “pro-life” zealots go “pro-life” on everything, then I’ll join them!
