Letter to the Editor

To the editor: Based on the column “Conserve through impeachment,” I believe that Ethan Stoetzer should be fired from the staff of the Hampton Chronicle because his views differ from mine.
I base this on his column saying President Trump should be impeached because the president’s views differ from Mr. Stoetzer’s. He lays out a few instances of why President Trump should be impeached, some are debatable, but why not impeach plenty of past presidents and congressmen for acts much more questionable than President Trump’s?
I write this letter because I’m tired of people bickering and whining because their candidate didn’t win and, because of that, they try to put a spin on how to get rid of the candidate who won. Good or bad, the election is over until 2020. Better luck next time.
And as for my first sentence, if you truly believe Trump should be impeached because there was a better candidate for the job, you should practice what you preach and quit the Hampton Chronicle, because I think there is a better candidate for Mr. Stoetzer’s job.
