Law enforcement officials are asking for help to locate a missing man.

Thank you for your assistance. Mr Boylan has been located in Meadow Grove, Nebraska is safe and the family is on there way to pick him up.
 
Previous Information
 
In a release issued Tuesday morning, the Hampton Police Department said James Boylan, 80, went missing at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
The release said Boylan has dementia. He was driving a white, 2001 Buick Lesabre, license plate EMS274. He was last seen making a purchase at Fuel Time in St. Ansgar around 12 a.m. Tuesday and then again at Casey's around 3:30 a.m. in Buffalo Center, IA.
Boylan is six feet tall, approximately 165 pounds with gray hair, a beard and a mustache and was last seen wearing a black Calvin Klein coat, a sweatshirt and jeans.
Hampton Police Chief Robert Schaefer says Boylan was last seen in Alta at the First Co-op.
James Boylan was last seen in Merriman, Nebraska, at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Hampton Police Chief Bob Schaefer said witnesses in Merriman said Boylan was asking directions to get back to Iowa.
