Lashbrook repeats state trip

DENVER — AGWSR sophomore Trey Lashbrook won the 120-pound district title to earn his second state wrestling meet trip.
He’ll be going alone again, a bit of a surprise, given he had four teammates vying for a trip, also.
But things didn’t go the Cougars’ way besides Lashbrook, who avenged three previous losses to Denver’s Jacob Moore, with a 7-5 decision in the final on Saturday, Feb. 9.
