Larry Allen Koppes, 68

Larry Allen Koppes, 68, of Atlantic IA passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 under the care of Cass Co Memorial Hospital in Atlantic IA. No services are planned at this time. Instead remember Larry by going fishing at one of his favorite spots, Beeds Lake, Hampton IA or your choice. 

Larry Allen Koppes was born on January 21st, 1955 in Henderson Nevada, a son of Carl and Elaine Koppes. He went to the Nazerene church in Henderson, and lived in Henderson until his family moved to Hampton Iowa when Larry was 14. Larry attended Hampton Highschool in the early seventies. He worked for various jobs during his younger years and then later on drove truck until he retired. He is remembered as liking to joke around and having  a quick wit. He enjoyed most foods, fishing, camping and spending time with his friends. He was always willing to help people. 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Carl Koppes & Elaine Koppes, sister Collette McCormick, and step mom Daisy Koppes.

Surviving relatives are his brother Steve Koppes of Indianola, IA, brother Mike Koppes of San Diego, CA, sister Connie Kittle of Las Vegas, NV. Plus many nieces and nephews in Iowa and Nevada, along with several cousins and extended family in Iowa.
