Landus Co-Op to sell assets in Hampton and Dumont

According a June 7 press release from Landus Cooperative, the company will begin to implement its, Project 2020: Consolidate then Grow, multi-year initiative, closing down locations and assets across Iowa, including assets in Hampton and Dumont.
Effective July 1, 2017, according to company releases, grain assets to be shut down are Dumont, Hampton, Audubon and Exira (effective in January 2018). The company will seasonalize its assets in Ackley, Aredale, Kesley, Plainfield, Thomspson, Dayton and Sac City. The full location closures will be Coon Rapids, Leland, Bristow and Parkersburg.
