HAMPTON – Justin Kent’s round of 41 was good enough to medal for Hampton-Dumont against a short-handed West Fork team on Tuesday, April 11 at Hampton Country Club.
Kent’s low score led the Bulldogs to a 195 team score and the Warhawks had just three varsity scoring members to not record a team score.
“Everybody’s scores went down from the first meet,” H-D head coach Jane Hoegh said. “It was just some of those times where we had a bad hole that brought us back to reality. We’ll work on that with some short game since we were three-putting the long holes.”
The entire story appears in the April 19 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
