Karsjens to 1st team all-NICL West

ACKLEY – AGWSR sophomore post player Nathan Karsjens was a unanimous pick to the first team of North Iowa Cedar League West boys basketball team, announced recently.
Karsjens, at 6-foot-5, led the Cougars in scoring at 16.9 points per game in league play. He averaged 7.9 boards in the NICL West but went for a double-double average overall at a 10.7 rebound per game clip.
He added 52 assists, 25 steals and 22 blocked shots for coach Russ Banzhaf’s team.
