High-speed pursuit rips through four counties

A Cerro Gordo County Deputy chased a Ventura man across Cerro Gordo, Franklin, Hancock and Wright counties at approximately 12:30 a.m., on Christmas morning. The pursuit began when Justin Glidden, operating a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, refused to pull over at the intersection of 237th St. and Balsam Ave., just south of Ventura, according to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s press release.
Glidden attempted to elude the deputy by traveling on gravel roads across Hancock and Wright counties. The chase skirted the limits of Belmond and re-entered Cerro Gordo County in Meservey.
