HAMPTON – At the Hampton-Dumont Boys’ Invite on Monday, April 15, only three full days left before the final qualifying for the Drake Relays, Bulldog senior Riley Flint remained one of the top-32 in the state in the 110-meter high hurdles.
His best time, at Clarion, had him sitting 23rd overall with the top-32 times run in the preliminaries this week at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
His time at this particular meet, though a winner against North Iowa competition, didn’t help to improve his standing with a strong head-wind against him as he came in at 16.04 seconds.
The complete story and more on qualifying will be found in the April 24 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
