HDC girls track and field ends season at Nevada
The Hampton-Dumont-CAL girls track and field team finished their year at the Class 3A District meet on Thursday in Neveda.
The team competed with four girls total.
Zoe Erdman placed fifth in the 400-meter with a time of 1:06.09.
Lydia Mass placed fourth in the 1500-meter, running 5:26.79.
Sydney Buseman finished ninth in the same event with a time of 5:47.05.
Buseman placed fourth in the 3000-meter run, with a time of 12:13.92.
Teaghan Bird ran the 400-meter hurdle in 1:13.51 for fifth place.
The 4x400 relay team finished in seventh with a time of 4:44.00.
“We wrapped up our season on Thursday at the district meet in Nevada with a personal best for all four of our girls who competed,” coach Nicole Donnenwerth said. “I was incredibly proud of the way that they competed.”
