HDC boys soccer defeats BK, loses to Denver.
Hampton-Dumont/CAL boys soccer club defeated Belmond-Klemme at home, 4-2, on May 10.
On Thursday, the Bulldogs were dealt a 0-10 loss by Denver on the road.
Against the Broncos, the Bulldogs put up two goals in the first half.
Both teams scored two in the second half, to keep HDC ahead of the Broncos.
The Bulldogs had 11 shots on goal.
Luis Mota scored the hat trick with three goals.
Alexis Hernandez had one goal for the team.
Bryan Vazquez Espinosa put up one assist.
David Vazquez in the net had 11 saves for the Dogs.
Against Denver, The Cyclones put up six goals in the first half.
David Vazquez had 11 saves in the match and gave up seven goals in the 40 minutes he played.
The Bulldogs will have played Webster City at home on Monday and will play Clear Lake on Thursday in Clear Lake, starting at 6:30 p.m.
HDC will travel to Waverly for Class 3A Districts., starting at 10 a.m.
